New York Polyphony celebrates music composed for England’s first queen, Mary I, or revived in her reign. Experience the rich sounds of one of the foremost vocal chamber ensembles today as they resonate through the cathedral acoustics of the Gardner’s Courtyard to the Dutch Room where the monarch’s portrait hangs. More as a musical “installation” than a concert, the performance will have long breaks between works so you may discover the Courtyard from all floors.
